When you write your 15 spelling words in your agenda, group the “-ar,” “-er,” and “-or” endings together.  Complete by Friday, 1/6.  Your spelling bonus is due no later than Thursday, 1/12, and your test over your assigned group of words will be Friday, 1/13.  (We may test on Thursday because of the MLK Holiday on the 16th but I will let you know well in advance.)

IRA: Summarizing Your Book
            Each evening, write a paragraph to tell about what you read that day.  Your entries will be for Wednesday (1/4), Thursday, Friday, Saturday OR Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  You can write your daily summary paragraph on your own paper or as a Google Doc to be shared by Friday, 1/13.  You will have a total of EIGHT paragraphs (one for each day).
            Each day, write the book title and page numbers you read.  It’s okay if you finish your book and need to start a new one.  You can use the following chart if you’d like:
