3.22 -Y to -I and Susan B. Anthony

3.22 Spelling: Word Endings y to i
Most of us know the spelling rule “Change the –y to an –i and add –es or –ed.”  Did you know that this rule only works with words ending in consonant y, NOT words ending in vowel y?
Write your words in your agenda Monday.  Spelling bonuses are due no later than Thursday.
You will choose your own bonus word this week.  What over verb follows the “-y to –i” pattern?
NOTE: You will have 15 of these words plus 5 review words on your test Friday.

*If you made below 80% on your spelling test last week, you MUST complete a spelling choice (practice activity) and turn in by Thursday.  You may complete and turn in a second activity/choice as a bonus.
